Monique Burrage 

When asked what Mrs. Burrage felt was the defining element of Occupational Therapy?

"Function."  was her answer, she said

"The key to improving function is to perform the necessary intervention required to enable an individual to master their environment."  That is what Houston Occupational Therapy is all about.

Our Business

Houston Occupational Therapy was founded by Monique Burrage .

Mrs. Burrage, a treating therapist herself, specializes in the treatment of reattached limbs, burns and severe upper extremity injuries.

She has often felt that Occupational Therapy was often misunderstood and under utilized in home health. Other therapists agreed who also felt very passionately regarding the practice of Occupational Therapy.

It was then that Ms. Burrage and a team of highly skilled COTAs and OTRs decided to educate the community by forming a company solely dedicated to the practice of Occupational Therapy using a holistic approach to treatment.

This was the conception of Houston Occupational Therapy.
